Farming is a business, and to make it sustainable it needs to be financially viable. In this no-cost workshop you will learn the details of starting and funding a farming business, learn hands-on how to figure your startup costs and write a streamlined and simple business plan that works for you. Then learn how to use your plan as-is to start your farm and how leverage your plan as a starting point for a more traditional business plan to secure financing or partners. After training, student will receive access to business and financial planning templates and tools. No cost monthly 1:1 technical assistance and mentoring to launch or grow their farming business.
