Leo Christy House & Lemon Ranch
Chula Vista, CA

HS # 25 Dutch Colonial Revival 

Leo Christy, the son of James and Mary Christy, came to Chula Vista as a young man around 1911 and purchased the land on which this house stands. He married Floy Melville, the daughter of Edward Melville, another Chula Vista pioneer. In 1928, Floy & Leo Christy, built the home using boards from the original cottage that once stood on the property.

D.V. Brown Rental
East Village -  San Diego

HRB # 341 a workmen's moderate income house of the Eastlake / Stick style Victorian period architecture.

Daniel V. Brown, a carpenter, erected this single-storied Victorian cottage in 1887 and sold the property that same year to James and Agnes Smith, who used the structure for rental purposes.

The house continues to be used as a private work space rental for modern makers
