Braising Mix / Hearty Greens

Hearty greens are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and low in calories.

 Our mix is a seasonal blend of strong-flavored cruciferous; shades of green and burgundy, provide a variety of flavors and textures.  


My favorite way to eat them added to soup or as an entrée salad.


Salad:

  • Mix equal parts of your favorite fruit jam and apple cider vinegar, set aside.⁠  (For the vinaigrette we don't add oil, because of the oil massaged with the hearty greens.)

  • Remove the stems, roll and thinly slice greens, lightly coat with oil and salt. Massage and set aside for 10 minutes.

  • Toss all ingredients and top with blue cheese, nuts and you favorite roasted veggies. ⁠⁠
