Hearty greens are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and low in calories.
Our mix is a seasonal blend of strong-flavored cruciferous; shades of green and burgundy, provide a variety of flavors and textures.
My favorite way to eat them added to soup or as an entrée salad.
Mix equal parts of your favorite fruit jam and apple cider vinegar, set aside. (For the vinaigrette we don't add oil, because of the oil massaged with the hearty greens.)
Remove the stems, roll and thinly slice greens, lightly coat with oil and salt. Massage and set aside for 10 minutes.
Toss all ingredients and top with blue cheese, nuts and you favorite roasted veggies.
