We use soaker lines and a smart, app based irrigation control system - RainMachine.
Each soaker line has an individual shut off valve, allowing us to shut down unused areas.
RainMachine takes into consideration our exact GPS location, weather data, calculated evaporation and our watering needs. Based on that information, the system will adjust the percent of water needed each cycle.
The app and soaker lines work together to help us reduce excess watering and waste.
