The Year That Flew By

This time last year I was giddy and nervous to start our first farm stand at Machete Beer House. Neither Mike nor I are sales people, and we certainly didn't know how to set up a retail display. We believe the best products sell themselves and never liked pushy sales people. So our first night at market, I set up our not-quite-Pinterest-worthy stand and said a little silent prayer that our produce would sell itself. I was elated to have 5 customers that night! Fast forward 1 year later - we now have a weekly CSA, are selling at 3 off farm locations (Machete Beer House, National City Chamber of Commerce and ChuckAlek Beirgarten) as well as on farm, have our produce on the menu at Garden Kitchen, are hosting quarterly charity dinners and a have small line of in-season pantry products. Whats next? who knows, but for now we hope you will join us at our Anniversary Party, to celebrate this amazing year and kick off the next. ~Stepheni Dickinson Farm
