Grow Your Own Cocktail

Plant your cocktail seed bombs and wait.
tick tock, tick tock.
Remember to keep the soil moist, not wet. Give them some sunshine and a bit of warmth.
Once they are ready to harvest, enjoy a cocktail to celebrate your newly acquired green thumb.
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 bunch fresh thyme
1/4 bunch lemon balm
1 bunch chamomile
2 cups fresh [Meyer] lemon juice
In a medium saucepan, bring sugar, herbs, and 1 cup water to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and 6 cups cold water; strain into a large pitcher.
Refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour (and up to 1 week).
Serve over ice with a splash of your favorite spirit and a garnish of herbs.
